My experience with Centerville Post Acute has been nothing short of wonderful. I am a hospice nurse and have had/currently have quite a few patients who reside here, as well as having many other patients who reside in different facilities in the area. What I can personally attest to is how deeply the staff here cares about their patients. I am in the facility multiple times throughout the week, and my favorite part of coming in is that I am always greeted by patients who are outside playing music, while eating burgers or ice cream or whatever fun treat the staff has coordinated that day. Further into the building, you’ll find a DON that knows every one of her residents by first name, and Unit Managers that can tell you almost any personal detail you’d like to know about any given resident on their unit, on the spot. Sylas and Garrett are quite literally never in their office because they are either participating in activities with the residents or helping the floor staff with their rounds. My patients are always well cared for, all of their ducks in a row at all times, and the floor nurses are diligent in making sure their residents have anything and everything they need. Facility nursing is challenging to say the least, resources and staffing have been extremely tight everywhere over the last few years. But from an inside clinical perspective, these people provide truly excellent care. From a more personal perspective, I can tell you that you won’t find more dedicated, caring or diligent staff to care for your loved one anywhere else. I am deeply touched by how above and beyond they go for their residents every single time I walk into the building. I’ll leave anyone reading with this final sentiment: as a nurse who has been in almost every facility in this region, I’d trust this place any day with caring for the people I love most.
My husband was just discharged from Centerville Post Acute. I have nothing but nice things to say! Everyone from intake to RN , to Aides, to housekeeping, to Dietary. Dietitian even came to the room to ask about likes and dislikes! Everyone was very caring and attentive. Call lights were answered in a reasonable time. Of course, there are some that we remember going way above and beyond! (You know who you are😉).The Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist were diligent in working on his needs. He got so much stronger! It was daily that we saw improvement! To where he was able to go home confident in himself. So, I just want to say that I would recommend this Facility to care for your loved one.
I am so pleased with Bree, Jade, and Nurse Kim for making Pam Flesher feel at home. They assist her and make sure no one is harassing her. Jade and Bree have the best crafts for everybody and they always make sure everyone’s included.
